We offer a wide variety of Heliconia and ornamental ginger seeds for sale year round. Seeds of tropical fruits that may be in season, some flowering trees, and butterfly host plant seeds are also available. All seeds are collected at our farm in Puerto Rico, from organically grown plants.

We guarantee our seeds. If you're not totally satisfied with your seed order, simply return the package, and we'll refund your payment minus shipping costs, no questions asked.

Our regular seed packets are usually $4.99 each plus shipping. The number of seeds per packet will depend on: plant species, seed size, and availability. Most of our heliconia seed packets contain 8-12 seeds each; if other amounts are available, it'll be specified on the list. Ginger and Musa seed packets contain a minimum of 15 seeds unless specified. We always add bonus seeds to every order. We sometimes offer BULK PACKS of Heliconia and Ginger species when we have plenty of seeds; please read on for further information.

HOW TO ORDER SEEDS FROM US: Send us the list of species you'd like to purchase, marking those you may want in larger quantities (BULK Packs) apart. We'll verify that they're available, and will then send you a total and instructions on how to pay.  We accept cash, personal checks, Money Orders, and PayPal within the U.S.A.; for international orders, we only accept Western Union and PayPal. Orders are shipped soon after payment is confirmed. We only ship PREPAID orders, very sorry to specify; no exceptions. You'll find our email address at the end of this page if you need further information on purchasing seeds from us.

PLEASE NOTE: Only those species marked with a small "x" on the table below are currently available. Others will eventually be available during the year.

BULK PACKS of 50 seeds or more of heliconia and ginger seeds (25 seeds or more in the case of tropical fruit seeds) are sometimes available. These are also very fresh seeds that can be offered at a great price when we have plenty of seeds of any given species. Please check the list below for currently available BULK Packs (marked on the right column with a big X), and email us if you need any additional information.

Shipping to the USA and its territories starts at $1.50 for HELICONIA and/or GINGER seed packets. For FRUIT SEED packets, shipping usually starts at $2.20 (some fruit seeds are large, and require additional shipping costs). For payment, we accept cash, personal checks, Money Orders and PayPal for orders within the USA and its territories.

INTERNATIONAL shipping starts at $2.50 for heliconia and/or ginger seed packets. For fruit seed orders, or large heliconia seed orders, please inquire. We're currently offering regular international air mail shipping only; no International Express or International Registered Mail is available. International payment is through Western Union and PayPal. We're very sorry, but we don't accept drafts from overseas banks.

We ship seeds worldwide, but can no longer ship to Costa Rica, Italy, Mauritius, or Mexico, very sorry for that. Some countries prohibit the import of seeds. Australia, for example, has very strict rules, and seeds of many heliconia species are not allowed. Please check AQIS'  "List of Permitted Species" online at: www.aqis.gov.au.

NOTE: Due to strict regulations concerning MOKO disease, which attacks bananas, AQIS will intercept all heliconia seeds going into AUSTRALIA, even though they may be on the List of Permitted Species. AQIS will also charge a fee for processing these seeds before returning them to you. Please contact your local agricultural authorities before ordering seeds from us. Very sorry for the inconvenience this may post to you.

Please give us at least 10 days to process your order. Sometimes we may be able to ship your seeds very quickly, but often times we'll need additional time to pack and ship them well. Our seed packets are carefully labeled and packed by hand, and this is very time consuming. Orders are always processed in the same order as they're received.

If there are harsh winter conditions in your area of residence, please remember these are TROPICAL seeds that require warmer temperatures to germinate. You can order now, and make arrangements so that your seeds are shipped when all danger of frost is gone, or you may order later during early Spring. We cannot be responsible for seeds lost to cold weather, nor do we want to expose precious seeds to harsh winter coditions.

Our heliconia and ginger seeds are usually packed in a MOIST medium; fruit seeds are wrapped in spaghnum moss. Some of your Heliconia and/or ginger seeds may germinate in transit; please open the plastic baggies very carefully upon arrival, so as not to disturb any small roots.

Tendremos otras especies en la lista en algún momento durante el año, de acuerdo a la etapa de floración de cada una. Los paquetitos regulares contienen de 10 - 12 semillas, pero la cantidad puede ser mayor o menor en algunos casos, segun se especifica. Puede enviarnos su orden a través de un correo electrónico (o por teléfono), y así le damos el total a pagar. Su pago puede ser en efectivo, con cheque personal, o a través de Western Union y/o PayPal. Tan pronto recibimos su pago, comenzamos a trabajar su orden. El precio de las semillas indicado abajo no incluye gastos de franqueo. Esté seguro (antes de ordenar y pagar) que estas semillas no estén reguladas por las autoridades agrícolas/sanitarias de su país. Generalmente enviamos las semillas por correo; los residentes de Puerto Rico pueden recogerlas personalmente si nos llaman antes y nos ponemos de acuerdo para el día y hora de su visita.
